Network Services Launches Sales Based Replenishment

In a first for an Australian magazine distributor, Network Services launched Sales Based Replenishment (SBR) in March. SBR is a new supply model that responds quickly to consumer demand, increasing sales and reducing returns. Through SBR we detect when a retailer is running short of a particular issue and automatically raise a re-order to prevent them selling out. Publishers, agents and Network benefit from increased sales & reduced waste. Even better, being automatic we all benefit from less administration. It’s a true win for all parties!
Currently ,SBR is operating across 21 ACP titles and 3,700 outlets. Through 2009/10 we will expand SBR increasing both the number of agents and publishers.
